  4. wellington1800 says:

Actually shes right…Im from Chicago, and have met Obama (I wasnt impressed; hes one of the most arrogant politicians I have ever met, including Blago) and voted for him after my candidate (Clinton) told us to. Anyways, clearly…Obama is/was a polished celebrity from south side chicago who was black…if you mean to tell me that him being black didn’t make a difference, you’re an idiot.

  9. panolaedu says:

she’s great. I would vote for her over Obama because she is a real person. ps, im a republican

  10. paidnfull says:

I’m Colored and I strongly agree with her.. It’s real annoying how the barbara won’t even let her speak and actually take the time to listen to her point being made. I believe she was being sincere when she spoke in this interview.

  11. gwapindust says:

I think she’s just trying to say that its all just a big show for all the sheeple to watch. I think she’s right.

  12. nrthdude1 says:

    Sheesh!

You’d think Ferraro belonged to a sexist & racist church and was married by its minister, or

that she had supporters who wore “Bros before Hos” T-shirts, or

called a female VP candidate a “pig with lipstick,”

or invited a homophobic bigot to give the inaugural invocation, or

ran an age-ist campaign against a crippled POW who had difficulty using computers, or

or made fun of the Special Olympics

  13. kickndave21 says:

She isnt racist, she just believes he is in the spotlight solely because hes black. Ummm wait, is that racist? haha.

  14. 57santiago says:

Are black people full blooded black to you?

  15. lourj3883 says:

well, I’m black and I don’t believe she’s racist. I’m not sure I agree with the details, however racist she is not.
by the way, the fact that I’m black shouldn’t matter in making this point. but she is right about one thing, although we’ve made promising progress, race is still relevant. I’m not whining, I’m stating the fact that even non-racist people consider it on some level how ever significant or not.

  16. jeremimi says:

    Hillary/Ferarro 2012!!!!

  17. jeremimi says:

shes a great woman and i totally agree with her

  18. ragratt says:

Well said! I dont think she is racist. many people voted for barrack because he is black in part or in whole. Just like many woman would have voted for hillary. AND i’m sure a number of racists refused to vote for Barrack because of his race. People base their vote on the DUMBEST most TRIVIAL reasons. Anyone who voted for these reasons should have stayed home. People who are not ignorant and biased should not vote but unfortunately these things do play a major factor in elections.

  19. rosendary says:

John McCain and Sarah Palin were so bad for America. Now that you see all the in-fighting that went on btw them, do you think they were better. I voted for him because he was the right guy, but I am PROUD that the RIGHT GUY is the BLACK GUY!! If an American did something in the world to help and change it I would be proud too!! Black people are happy that the right man is black, not thinking he is right just cause he is black! that’s already been done by white people in our history. Not good!

  20. BadSsen says:

Then why are trying so hard to look like a man? Just had to say it……

  21. ganoush says:

    cranky old racist biatch.

    Obama 2012

  22. byron225a says:

She sounds bitter, ignorant or just plain ol’ out of touch. In theory, his race has added to his ability to win votes in Chicago, but not overall. It was his speech in the 2004 election and overall charisma, along with the country’s desire to move away from devisiveness, which ushered him to his destination. The differnce between Ferraro and Obama is that he believes that he can win. Dont disparage a person over such pety topics as race or sex. Just get out there and try to win. Courage not rage

  23. seximaddahumpa says:

You’d think this was FOX news and not ABC the way this interviewer was handling the discussion… trying to prove a point that doesn’t exist.
Jesus Christ, woman, let the old lady talk!

  24. changeUS says:

    Can you say White House

  25. ssvegeta9386 says:

As a republican (an outsider view), Ferraro is 100% right. That wasn’t a rasist comment it’s the fact, it’s apparent when he’s called an African-American. He is both black and white, but mostly arabic… so to say he is an African-American is to inaccurately spin the vote towards that demographic whom overwhelmingly voted for Obama.
Biden- (on Obama) “articulate, bright, and clean black man”
(defending his southern state votes) “my state was a slave state”

    Who is the rasist?vote carefully
