it more than just love. it about how people separate themselves because of their differences. the space between is what separate different people even though we are all the same humans. it related to racism and beliefs. the space between is what keep all people from being united as a human race. the black girl and her white boyfriend are separated because of their difference in skin color. they should be together because they love each other.
i was obsessed w/ this when i was 6. my mom had the album and I always played this song on repeat. idk why lol i guess something about it was great. it really sounds great now that im listening to it these years later

…god i’m so glad i stopped listening to the radio when i was 10…it’s bands like this that open the gateway to real music like progressive/jazz metal (Dream Theater, Shadow Gallery )—> power metal Symphony X, Pagan’s Mind—>Death Metal (Decapitated, Vader)—>and now i’m discovering melodic/progressive trance, Liquid drum and bass, and even more underground hip hop…. thanks DMB for opening my ears so long ago.
